- Half Ripe Papaya grated – 1 kg
- Sugar – 1 kg
- Citric acid – 1 tsp
- Butter – 150gm
- Salt to taste
- Papaya, sugar, citric acid and salt boil with some water in a steel bowl. Stir time to time.
- Once the mixture thickens add butter and stir.
- After some time it will start to unstick from the sides of the bowl. Then turn of the heat.
- Cut in desired shape and serve in a plate with very little oil applied to the surface.
